By being an internationally recognized ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accredited testing facility, several things are paramount to ensuring that this status does not change. The accreditation body reviews and scrutinizes the quality system each year to ensure that the highest level of quality is maintained. Additionally, in order to have a reliable product for its customers, a test lab must be able to provide traceability, consistency and repeatability. In short, an ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accredited lab has a high bar for maintaining these criteria.
